CIA Wanted: Idealists for the Difficult Times

I don't know what the substance of today's American CIA agents is, and it would be unfair to tar them all with the same brush, but those I have met in these six years leave me quite perplexed.

And yes, because, as I see it, very hard times are coming, the kind that CIA America has never seen since its creation, times where a colleague and friend from one division calls another friend from the other division to find out that, not only is there no answer on the phone, but there is no dial tone at all because the building has been razed to the ground. And all this in a little while, on this side, our side, the goal of our field.

When you start counting yourselves because those on the other side, on the other side, the one in their half of the field will have counted you as they used to do once, only this time the battle will not only be in their backyard but also in ours, the American and European one.

Now, I am quite perplexed because the CIA and FBI agents I have met are a Mexican/American, a Calabrian/Italian, an Afro American, who for the last six years have never stopped sharing information and collaborating with the Russians, Belarusians, Iranians and Serbs.

At the top of the CIA, a question comes to me spontaneously, but exactly with this type of entourage do you think you will face the challenge of the darkest and most tenebrous times that the CIA Organization has ever seen since its foundation? I am a few years ahead of schedule.
