Save those who can and all the others fend for themselves.
It is 2024, dozens of months after the conflict in Ukraine, and European policy has not put in place any concrete measures to restore pre-war energy market prices.
Needless to say, price containment with the "cap price" strategy and all other measures that provide for the intervention of states with public debt are absolutely ineffective because they do not solve the problem.
And yes, because the final cost is substantially diluted, but it is certainly extremely great and in the long run the competitiveness of European economies will suffer, and with it the production system and exports of products made in Europe.
So where were we? Ah yes, European politics that has not been able to solve the problem of the energy crisis that has been going on for a few decades now.
The entire European political class, both at national and European level, cannot understand why the price of energy is so unfavorable to European economies.
The question to ask is who is it that sets the price in an energy market like the European one?
Before the Ukrainian conflict and the destruction of the pipline, the price was set by the best offer on the international market but above all European. In fact, if Russian gas was offered to the European market in abundant quantities and at a price advantageous for Europeans, other sellers such as Turkey with the pipline transkaspian, and the North African countries calibrated themselves on the best offer to the market, which means the same price or similar to that offered by Russia also by the operators in the midlest and North Africa.
Now, until a few months before the start of the war, Europe and the European states had a fairly efficient energy market because the presence of the Russian operator established the advantageous price and triggered competition between the European and the European countries.
Perso, an operator in the energy market that set the advantageous price for Europeans, lost the efficiency of the energy market, and the countries producing and exporting gas form a "cartel".
Therefore, a market (including the energy market) to be efficient, must have a sufficient number of operators (producers), it must incorporate the information in the prices that at the same time must be available to all buyers, i.e. to all European states.
So, are we in conditions of market efficiency? Are producers, producers and exporters sufficient for European buyers? Is all market pricing information incorporated into European market pricing?
If European national and international European politics "go out" of the Russian ideology of "political correctness", effective action would probably be possible to solve the energy crisis.
Having lost the best price favourable to our European economies, it is first of all necessary to establish a new price of European price, favourable to the European states that do not have raw materials.
Having lost Russia, a country that is not part of the European Union, we must look at another country, also not part of the European Union but which borders the European Union.
The country in question is Norway, which has sufficient natural resources to make up for the loss of the Russian operator but above all to establish the best favorable price for European economies and European purchasing states.
The question to ask is why Norway has not yet applied the favorable price for the European economies and for the pre-war European states?
To this question to the first Norwegian minister posed by several European governments, the entire Norwegian political class replied that we are in a market economy and therefore the price is set by the market.
The prime minister of Norway is very nice from the top of the reassurances on the "action plan" put in place and suggested to them by the lords of the "penumbra", but it happens that they have a plan for the prime minister of Norway and their entire political class, but that they certainly do not go to say them before having made the Norwegian prime minister carry out the task.
And the textbook response and perfectly in line with the national interests of the state of Norway was thought by the entire political class of European governments but also that of the European Parliament and the European Commission.
If the "mintset" remains that of the "single thought of political correctness" of the Russian type, it is clear that the entire European political class does not find a solution to the energy crisis and the race of prices and inflation.
Once again we are faced with a conflict of interest that the three Christian communities, the Latin first, the Slavic second and the Germanic third have to face.
In fact, it is necessary to send a united delegation of parliamentary and governmental representatives of Spain, Italy, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia, Holland, Germany and Austria to represent the three European Christian communities and the conglomerate of the interests of the European Christian community that nothing of the wealth of the country called Norway will remain if we three Christian communities fall.
Norway and its entire political, party, paramental and governmental class completely ignores a scenario that is anything but remote, that is, to see the state welfare fund disappear from one day to the next, to see their entire political class supplanted and to see themselves expropriated of all the resources of the Norwegian state by the American multinationals and their corporation.
The Latin, Slavic and Nordic European communities are capable of finding such a unity of action and moving simultaneously rowing with all their strength in the same direction.
Is the European Christian community capable of forming such a political delegation of parliamentary and governmental representation, and unitedly presenting itself to the Norwegian Parliament to explain to their gentlemen that nothing of you will remain if we fall?
The European Christian community is capable of finding a synthesis and reporting to their Members of Parliament and the Norwegian party system that this energy must be accessible at the pre-war price to all three communities without distinction of language.
Time is of the essence in the geopolitical situation and European national politics and the European Commission and European Parliament need to do more.
